Murchison Falls National Park
One of the must see features in this park is in the name, Murchison Falls. Words cannot do justice to the falls, its beauty has to be witnessed in person.
There is much more to see in the park, from the beautiful scenery to the diverse wildlife such as the range of bird species, herds of buffalo, graceful giraffes, elephants, several antelope species, crocodiles and hippos. Opt to see the animals on cruise along the Nile or on a drive through the park.

Lake Mburo National Park
Lake Mburo National Park is located in Kiruhura District in South Western Uganda. The park traverses through Mbarara – Ntungamo – Kabale Road, giving lucky travelers a sneak peek of animals crossing within the park.
The park is one of the few in Uganda with both zebras and “Twigas” (Giraffes). As the name entails, the park possesses a lake; Lake Mburo that guarantees an incredible view of the animals on a boat cruise. The park is the only one with guided horseback riding and mountain biking – fascinating, isn’t it?
Unlike others, Lake Mburo has a number people who reside and rear cattle within the park.

Queen Elizabeth National Park
Renamed after the Queen Elizabeth II of England, the park is deserving of its royal status. The Park as it is surrounded by the beautiful features of the western arm of the East African Rift Valley.

There are endless possibilities of things to see and do, from sighting a wide range of animals such as the mighty elephants, famous tree climbing lions of Ishaasha to the beautiful scenery such as the Kazinga Channel which joins Lakes Edward and George. Queen Elizabeth National Park is a 4-5 hour drive from Kampala.

Kidepo National Park
The only debate to have about this park is whether it looks more beautiful at night or during day. Kidepo National Park is everything you expect when you think of a safari; and then some.
You are bound to sight an animal every after a couple of foot steps; from lions, buffaloes to zebras and panthers – which can only be found in Kidepo while in Uganda.
The scenery in the park is one of a kind as it is flat terrain surrounded by scenic highlands. At night, the sky is littered with so many stars that it feels like they are calling out for you to touch one!
The park is tucked away in Karamoja in North Eastern Uganda, with the nearest major town (Gulu) over 200 km away, Kidepo truly is a getaway.
